It all started with a glitch:
In 2007, physics in games were… janky. In GTA: San Andreas, if you drove over a pedestrian, the game would send them flying straight through the car roof. For a 6-year-old, it was hysterical to watch.
Much to the chagrin of his parents, Miles, pictured here with his brother and uncle would spend hours watching
Most importantly, however, this was the first time Miles experienced firsthand the power that virtual experiences had when it came to fostering shared joy and connectivity. That feeling would help form the belief later on that video games, as a digital extension of play, will shape the future of communication in our ever-connected world.
